Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-24
Information we collect
When you create a DeepCosmo account, we collect the email address and nickname you provide, plus the password used for sign-in (stored only as an encrypted hash — we cannot read your plaintext password).
When you create and publish works, we store the name, description, 3D scene data and visibility settings; content of public works is visible to all visitors.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie contains no advertising tracking information.
How we use this information
We use your information to provide and improve the service: verifying sign-in, saving and syncing your works, showing your public works in the square, and answering you when you contact us.
We never sell, rent or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data storage and security
Works and account data are stored in the cloud database service we use (Supabase / PostgreSQL). Passwords are stored as salted hashes using the scrypt algorithm; session tokens are saved as hashes, and the raw token exists only in your browser cookie.
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data, but no internet transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
Public works and sharing
Once you set a work to "Public", its content becomes visible to all visitors and may be shown in the world square. Only publish content you are comfortable displaying publicly.
You can switch a work back to "Private" at any time; it will no longer be shown publicly.
Your rights
You can update your nickname and password anytime in your profile.
Under Settings → Your data you can download a copy of your account data, and under Danger zone you can delete your account directly without contacting support. Deletion removes or anonymizes your email, password, sessions, favorites, notifications and point history, and cannot be undone.
To keep other people’s maps and works intact, public worlds and blocks you have published are not deleted with your account; they are detached from your identity and shown under a deleted-user placeholder instead of your name. If you want them removed too, delete them before closing your account.
You can also reach us at the email below with any data-related question.
Policy updates and contact
We may update this privacy policy from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
If you have any questions about this policy, email us at fivfibo@gmail.com.
