Frequently asked questions
The questions below are grouped by topic. If an answer is not specific enough, open the linked document or contact us directly.
Account
Registration requires an email verification code; third-party accounts without a password can add one in Settings. Changing the password signs other devices out.
Points and reputation
Points are accounted per world and can only be spent there; they cannot move between worlds, be withdrawn, or be exchanged for anything outside the platform. Reputation is a global record of contribution and is never spent. Neither is linked to any real currency.
Creation and publishing
A work can stay private while it is being built and go public later. Public works appear on the square and the map; a private work cannot be opened even with a link. Deleting a public work removes it from the map as well.
Mobile
The map and editor support portrait and landscape phones: pinch to zoom, bottom drawers, and safe-area insets. On mobile, the creator console folds its sidebar into a drawer while keeping the same functions as desktop.
Frequently asked questions
- Does DeepCosmo charge a fee?
- The platform does not currently charge a subscription. World owners can configure claim and point rules within the limits set by the platform.
- Can points be withdrawn or transferred?
- No. Points can only be spent inside the world they belong to. They cannot move between worlds or be exchanged for cash or outside benefits.
- Where are my works stored?
- Works are stored in your cloud account and can be edited from any device after signing in. You can export a copy of your account data at any time in Settings.
- Why are my view numbers not increasing?
- Metrics count other people’s visits only, so the author’s own previews are excluded; a valid view also requires 8 seconds on a single block. A newly published block may simply not have been seen yet.
- Can a gated block become public again?
- Yes. A block can return to public. A block that has produced unlocks cannot become private, which protects readers who already paid.
- How do I contact you?
- Email fivfibo@gmail.com with your account, the page, and reproduction steps. We will reply as soon as possible.
