Quick start

The full DeepCosmo path has four steps: create an account, claim a single pixel, build a world, and publish. None of it requires installing software.

Step 1: create an account

Register with an email address and enter the verification code sent to that address. Codes expire and must be re-issued afterwards. Third-party sign-in is also supported; if you use it for the first time, set a password in Settings so you can return to the same account after signing out.

An account opens the creator console at /app, where works, pixels, points, and account settings are managed in one place.

Step 2: claim a pixel

Open the universe map, drag to pan, and use the scroll wheel or a two-finger pinch to reach an empty area. Empty pixels are shown in a lighter shade. Clicking one follows the claim policy of its region: open regions place a block immediately, request regions create a pending application, and reserved regions cannot be claimed.

  • Open region: the block is placed on click and appears on the map immediately
  • Request region: an application is submitted and waits for the region owner; status is visible in its details
  • Reserved region: only the owner and invited users can place blocks

Open worlds set a claim quota for new accounts: 3 pixels by default, plus 1 for each active day, capped at 10. After 7 consecutive days while holding 10 pixels, the account is upgraded to trusted resident and the cap rises to 50.

Step 3: build the world

Open your own pixel to enter the editor. A pixel carries a base colour, cover, and title before it carries content: keep it as a plain colour block, attach a 3D world, or link to an external article or video.

A 3D world starts with one wall. After walls are drawn, doors and windows snap into place, and slabs and roofs follow the existing outline. Every component stays parametric, and the model updates as values change.

Step 4: publish and read the data

Set the world to public and it appears on the world square and the map, where other users can enter from the map and browse in first person. A private world is visible only to you; a shared link will not open it.

The console overview reports previews, valid views, unique visitors, traffic sources, and top works; unlock revenue is reported separately. All visit metrics count other people’s visits only.
